Identify strengths for your career

In every given situation whether we do it on purpose or not, we try and rationalize the situation and move towards the best decision we can act on. It is varies in every person but in my case, the type of reasoning I am strongest in is deductive reasoning. The smartest way to go about any situation, especially a difficult one, is to weigh out all the options and premises, and finally work on the best decision possible. When it comes to a career choice, the same idea applies. For example, if I were to chose to be a dentist, I need to see if I am willing to work for all the classes I need to take and if I want to commit to it. Also if I am ready for the financial commitment and other factors. Knowing this is beneficial in making that first step to go on any career path that one chooses. It is a lifetime commitment, and overseeing each option is a crucial step.

  1. I agree with you that we should weight out our options and premises in each situations. From there we can determine what the best move is so we can move forward with it. I have used this decision-making strategy a lot in my life, and it has always worked out well, for the most part. I remember back in high school, during my senior year, I was trying to figure out which college would be best for me. I looked through their majors, programs, and cost, along with what type of urban city life there would be. From my list, I was able to cross off colleges I did not think I would like, and visited those I thought would be good for me. After that, I decided that SJSU would be the best fit for me, so here we are.
