Be careful that you do not go on a spending spree today. You
could lose track of your purchases and buy a lot more than you intended. You

After reading my horoscope for today, I would have to say
that it was pretty accurate. It was
pretty weird to see that it was basically describing my day and how I feel
today. Like for example when it said that I should be careful not to go on a
spending spree today. I realized that I have been spending a lot of money today
and lost track of the purchases I made especially since I went to target
today. Also, when it said that I am more
talkative than usual today. I realized that I was having a hard time
concentrating in the library while I was doing homework because I wanted to
talk to my friends. I would not say that any of the horoscope was falsifiable
because it talks about if I was searching for a new job but I was not today. Overall, I would have to say that my horoscope for today was pretty accurate.
I see what your point is when it comes to your horoscope, but what I have a different outlook on horoscopes. I think that they are written in a very broad style so that it caters to most of the readers' daily lives. I tried this myself and read other people's horoscopes and noticed that I could also relate that to my very own personal day. I think that good horoscopes are sometimes good in a way that people could live a day towards a more positive direction. At the same time, a more negative horoscope could allow a person to go against it and try everything to avoid falling on the tracks of having a bad day or future. In the end, it all comes down to how each individual takes their horoscopes.
ReplyDeleteIt was interesting to read on your post that your horoscope was accurate in predicting your day. The horoscope I read for myself was so far off, and it didn’t give as much information as yours did. Maybe some are more detailed than others. I don’t really believe in the prediction of the future, but I think that it’s cool that your day went a lot like what you read in your horoscope. I sometimes wonder if there is some kind of manifestation associated with people who read their horoscopes or have their fortune told. Whether we believe horoscopes to be true or not, I think it’s cool that yours was accurate.
ReplyDeleteI agree with what Anna Gram said; “I think that they are written in a very broad style so that it caters to most of the readers' daily lives.” They do this by using terms such as “if” and you “may.” My horoscope seemed to fit my mood for the day as well. For instance, when they say, “higher education and foreign travel ‘MAY’ be your dream…” and you “could” lose track. This new confidence in your horoscopes prediction should be taken with a grain of salt. I think this was merely a coincidence, so don’t let any negative predictions change how your day goes or how you interpreted it at the end of the day.
